Sandra Kay Wisroth, 76, of Pine Bluffs, WY, went home to her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2023, after an eight-month battle with cancer.
Sandy was born in Kimball, NE on January 14, 1947, and was a life long resident of Pine Bluffs, WY. She loved playing Pitch (thanks to her dad), traveling and riding the motorcycle. Sandy couldn’t wait to get to Mercedes, TX, where she and Don would spend their winters. She made many friends from all across the country while down there. Don, Sandy and all the other “Winter Texans” would spend afternoons across the border dancing and drinking margaritas. Sandy’s pride and joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved going to their school and sporting events. She would go on and on talking about football, basketball and baseball and lately the littlest ones playing hockey and skiing. Sandy’s all time favorite thing to do was to go camping/fishing with her siblings and cousins at Glendo. Sandy had more fishing tackle than any one person should ever have, but there was always something new she needed. Sandy will be dearly missed on future trips. Sandy’s best friends were her siblings. She loved spending time with them. If she was on the phone and one of them called, she always had to hang up so she could talk to them. Sandy’s love of her life was her husband, Don. They were married on January 5th, 1991. They had many great adventures together. They were very proud of their garden and yard. Where they would work together for hours and hours.
Sandy is survived by her husband Don Wisroth, Pine Bluffs, WY, children Chad (Shawna) Schaefer, Pine Bluffs, WY, Robin (Phil) Feezer, Cheyenne, WY, Laura (Jim) Salmon, Ft. Collins, CO, and Duane (Sally) Wisroth, Casper, WY; her grandchildren Dalton Schaefer, Kami Schaefer, Jaclyn (Hans) Jordet, Tyler (Molly) Feezer, Bradley Feezer, Grant Salmon, Austen (Ashely) Wisroth, Dylan (Jordyn) Wisroth, Blake (Janel) Wisroth, Vinta Wisroth; 5 great grandchildren; siblings Mike (Pat) Reher, Pine Bluffs, WY, Sue (Lin) Vann, Cheyenne, WY, Monty (Kari) Reher, Boise, ID; sister in-law Ester Moore, Melboure, FL; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by her grandparents Mae and Jake Timesch, Frank Arnold, Theresa and Authur Reher; her parents Leonard and Ilene Reher; a son Donald Wisroth Jr. and a grandson Travis Salmon.
