Sharon Sauer

Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Sharon Sauer, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away early Thursday morning, April 22, 2010, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Sharon was born July 16, 1940, in Greeley, Colorado, a daughter of Conrad George and Avis (Meyer) Sauer. Sharon was a graduate of Cheyenne High School She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield and later worked as a corporate accountant for numerous years with McGladrey & Pullen where she attended numerous classes on tax accounting and preparation. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church and she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Sharon is survived by a sister, Elisabeth Porter and husband, Wayne; two brothers, Bill Sauer and Cecil Sauer and wife, Loretta; a special nephew, Kenny Thomas; three other nephews, Ed Porter, Cecil Sauer and chuck Sauer; and three nieces, Linda Bredvik, Marlene Schuening and Ann Ross. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant twin sisters; an infant brother, Daniel Sauer; and a sister, Gladys Thomas.
