Susan Merrill

Susan Marlene Merrill, 67, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away May 4, 2022 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.

Susan was born November 16, 1954 in Laramie, Wyoming, a daughter of Donald and Phyllis (Beach) Murphy.

Susan married Richard Merrill in 1972, celebrating 50 wonderful years together.  She worked as a midwife for approximately 25 years, delivering over 400 babies.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan is survived by her parents Donald and Phyllis Murphy; her husband, Richard Merrill of Cheyenne; children, Melissa (Antonio) Duran of Rawlins, WY, Daniel Merrill of Cheyenne, Bromley (Angela) Merrill of Sheridan, WY and Landen (Coral) Merrill of Rawlins, WY; two brothers, Morris Murphy of Laramie, WY and Ron (Marisol) Murphy of Cuernavaca, Mexico; sister, Sheila (Robert) McDonald of Loveland, CO; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kalin Merrill.

Services in memory of Susan will be private.  Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
