Terry G. Webber, 79, of Cheyenne passed away July 1, at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Scottsbluff, NE on March 29, 1946, Terry was one of four children.
Terry attended high school in Fort Laramie and was drafted into the Army in 1965. He left shortly thereafter to serve his country in Vietnam.
Upon his return he set about raising a family. He worked a variety of jobs including; being a meat cutter, driving a bus for Greyhound Lines, and finally working as a telecommunications specialist for the Bureau of Land Management. Terry retired in July of 2009 after 27 years of federal service.
As fate would have it, Terry reconnected with his high school sweetheart, marrying Nona Jean Feagler on September 9, 1990. Terry and Nona dedicated their time to being grandparents and creating a beautiful home in Cheyenne where they hosted many barbeques, holiday parties, and family gatherings. Terry and Nona remained married until her passing in January 2020.
Terry enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and generally giving everyone a hard time. In 2021 he realized a long-time goal of going salmon fishing in Alaska.
Terry is survived by his children; Bill (Jolyn) Webber of Cheyenne, Dan (Carey) Webber of Kansas City, MO., Tana (Tim) Phillips of St. Louis, MO.; grandchildren, Katelynn Webber, Cameron Webber, Cadence Phillips, Madison Phillips, Taylor Phillips, Josh (Brittany) Akes, Jacob Akes, Justin (Leeann) Akes, Kyle Webber, Jace Hageman, Morgan Hageman, and Jocelyn Feagler; great grandchildren Brie Feagler, Shaylyn Akes, Zay Martinez, Miya Cecco and Oaklynn Ragsdale.
Additionally, Terry is survived by his close friends who became family; Bo (Jen) Waldhouser and children Gus, Bailey and Levi as well as girlfriend Cathy Hancock.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, July 11th at 12:00 at the Schrader, Aragon, and Jacoby Funeral home located at 2222 Russel Ave in Cheyenne.
