Thomas White Sr.

Thomas H. White, Sr., of Cheyenne passed away December 5, 2010 at Cheyenne Lifecare Center. He was born February 21, 1930 in Otis Community, NM to Hugh and Cora White. He married Sadie N. Newton on April 16, 1955 in Farmington, NM. He worked on the big steel gangs and was sectionman at Harriman for 40+ years on the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Resurrection Fellowship Church in Loveland, CO. He is survived by his children, Thomas H. White, Jr. of Cheyenne and Shirley L. Bancroft of Hesperus, CO; grandchildren, Joshua H. White, David N. White, Willis Bancroft and Wes Bancroft; siblings, Ruby Newton, Harry White, Willie White, Bobby White and Larry White. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby White and Andy White. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday in Schrader Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may contribute to the Thomas H. White, Sr. Memorial Fund, c/o Thomas H.
