Travis Michael Persinger

Travis Michael Persinger, age 49, passed away on the evening of Thursday, August 27th 2026. Born in Cheyenne,WY as a Bicentennial baby to Karen Jenkins and Galen Persinger he was the oldest of the 3 siblings; Jedidiah and Jason Persinger later having a step sibling Tiffani Berkeley. Although born in Cheyenne, due to his father’s service in the military his family was stationed in Germany for an undisclosed amount of time before eventually moving back to Cheyenne. In his prime, he spent his years in bootcamp to then later on serve as a medic for the United States Air Force. During his service, he had his first daughter, Crystobyl Persinger with his ex wife for 3 years. After finishing his service in the United States Air Force he went on to work as a mechanic where he met Elysse Kanada where they both had his second child, Emma Persinger. From then he spent some time hopping between homes where he eventually found permanent residence in which he found a stable job and had earned a degree. While at his job, he found his girlfriend Tammy F. who had spent 13 years together with Travis until the time of his passing.

His memory will survive through his family, his friends, and coworkers that had the privilege of sharing parts of his life with. As a loving father, as a dutiful son, and as a laid back soul. He will always be remembered for being the brightest person in the room, both in spirit and mind. 

His two daughters, Emma and Crystobyl Persinger will be representing him and his memory during these tough times. Emma wanted to give acknowledgement to her Grandmother, Karen Jenkins for giving the most to honor her son’s memory the best it can be

His service will take place at the national cemetery and service will be on friday the 25 of September at 11 am (be sure to arrive at 10:45).
