Warren Bard

Warren R. Bard, 71, of Burns, Wyoming passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Cheyenne Healthcare Center.

Warren was born April 9, 1948 in Sheridan, Wyoming, son of the late Warren O. and Helen M. (Anderson) Bard.

Warren served proudly as a law enforcement officer for the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Department of Criminal Investigation.  His interests included firearm training and was a well-respected leather worker.

Warren is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Lisa Bard, Chris (Jason) Hergert, Tracy (Randy) Chandler, Rick (Kate) Burchell and Phillip Burchell; sisters, Mary Ella Hando and Tammy Burr; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Ron Jensen.

Services will be private.  Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a law enforcement agency of choice.
