William Diekroeger

William R. Diekroeger, 85, died December 13, 2015 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. William was born on March 13, 1930 in Brookfield, MO the son of Manuel L. and Katharine E. (Wilson) Diekroeger. In 1948, William joined the US Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict until 1952. On July 16, 1950 he married Mary Jane Weyland in Boonville, MO. Following his discharge from the Navy, William attended college at Central College in Fayette, MO, Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL and Medill NW University in Great Lakes, IL. William is survived by his wife Mary Jane of Cheyenne, one son Cody Diekroeger of Cheyenne and one daughter Sallee Call of Cheyenne, two grand-daughters and one great-grandson. Private services with interment at Mountain View Memorial Park were held. Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
