Zacharyah Jonathan Lemmons

August 16, 2001 — October 23, 2025

Cheyenne

Zacharyah Jonathan Lemmons was welcomed into the loving arms of his parents, Clifford Lemmons and Paulita Brinlee on August 16, 2001, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He left this universe on October 23, 2025, but will forever be in our loving hearts for eternity. From his very first breath, Zacharyah “Zach” to those who loved him filled every room with light, laughter, and an unmistakable spark that drew people in and made them feel seen, valuable, and loved.

Zach lived his life with a sense of wonder and joy that was contagious. He approached every moment as an opportunity to experience something new-whether that meant trying a daring new adventure, chasing a dream, or simply making someone’s day brighter. He had a rare gift for connection; wherever he went, Zach collected friends who quickly became family. His laughter could fill a room, his smile could melt away a bad day, and his presence made the world feel a little less heavy.

From an early age, Zach expressed his creativity through music and art. He played the violin throughout his academic years, bringing emotion and beauty to every note. A proud member of the Junior National Honor Society, Zach balanced excellence in academics with an expressive, artistic soul. His love for fashion and design was boundless-he was a true fashionista, unafraid to stand out, embrace individuality, and celebrate beauty in all its forms. His confidence and style even led him all the way to Paris Fashion Week, where he was personally invited by Iris Van Herpen to attend a Couture Fashion Show, accompanied by his beloved “medical assistant” and proud dad, Cliff.

Zach’s drive and determination were matched only by his discipline. He earned his Black Belt in Karate, mastering all levels with perseverance and focus. Through scouting, Zach cultivated his adventurous spirit-attending camps, braving the cold of Klondike, journeying to Philmont, and becoming a proud member of the Order of the Arrow. Every new experience fueled his love for the outdoors, camaraderie, and service.

But what truly defined Zach was his heart. He had an incredible sense of humor-mischievous, playful, and full of love. He could make anyone laugh, often through harmless pranks or witty remarks. One of his most memorable moments, now immortalized online, was a viral video of Zach gently “gagging” his mom with a dandelion-an act so perfectly him: silly, sweet, and utterly full of life.

Zach loved music deeply. From his car seat days dancing to “Hey Ya” by Outkast, to his admiration for artists like SOPHIE, Charli XCX, and Lorde, music was both his language and his joy. He found rhythm in everything-whether it was a road trip, a late-night talk, or a new creative project.

A proud graduate of South High School (Class of 2019) and later LCCC, where he earned an associate’s degree in business & accounting, Zach combined creativity with intelligence, ambition with humility. He dreamed big, worked hard, and supported others as they chased their own dreams.

Zach had the rare ability to make everyone feel like his best friend. His circle was vast-not because he sought attention, but because his spirit was magnetic. He made friends everywhere: in school, at work, online, in passing. He lifted others up, celebrated their victories, and was there-always there-when they needed a hand, a laugh, or a reminder of their worth. Many people have said that meeting Zach changed their lives. He taught others how to live boldly, love deeply, and laugh freely.

He loved traveling and discovering new places-each trip another chance to learn, to connect, and to experience life to its fullest. His adventures were never just about destinations; they were about the memories created with the people he met, and the joy shared along the way.

Zacharyah’s life was a masterpiece of kindness, humor, and authenticity. Though his time on this earth was far too short, his impact will echo forever in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him. His laughter, his light, and his love will continue to guide those who loved him most, reminding us all to live like Zach: fearlessly, joyfully, and with endless compassion.

Zach is survived by his loving family: His father, Clifford Lemmons of Cheyenne, mother Paulita Brinlee of Bardstown, Kentucky, and brothers Kaiden and Jacob of Cheyenne. His grandfather John Lemmons of Cheyenne and grandmothers Karon Allard (Jerry) of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Diane Tammen of Cheyenne; uncles Tom Brinlee (Kristen) of Athens, Alabama, Casey and Corey Medina, and Troy Lemmons (Brandy); aunts Kathleen “Kat” Medina and Selestina “Tina” Lemmons, all of Cheyenne; great-uncles Tim, Tom, Ted, Terry, and Tony Allard; and a large extended family of cousins, friends, and chosen family who will forever carry his light within them.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers John Brinlee and Tom Tammen, great-grandmothers Cleo Allard and Mary Diem Lemmons, and great-grandfathers Charles Allard and Clifford Lemmons.
