John Jacoby

John E. Jacoby, 66, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at Davis Hospice Center after a four year courageous battle with melanoma.

John was born September 19, 1953 in San Diego, California, son of Jack and Shirley (Arehart) Jacoby.

John enjoyed working for the railroad and WYDOT.  He also worked as a carpenter and as a bus driver for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.  His many interests included skiing, playing baseball, golfing and wood-working.

John is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Sailor; mother, Shirley Jacoby; brother, David (Tammy) Jacoby; sisters-in-law, Lee (Mike) Willis, Ginger (Rich) McLeod and Sandy (Jeff) Pecenka; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He is preceded in death by father, Jack Jacoby.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Schrader Reception Center.  Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
