Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Memorial Service Monday, December 21, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel. Orville Marienthal, 81, of Cheyenne left this earth for Heaven on December 15, 2009, at Mountain Towers Nursing Home. He was born September 28, 1928, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Reinhold and Amanda Marienthal and lived there until he went into the service at age 18. He was stationed at Warren AFB until he was discharged in October 1949. He retired from Civil Service at Warren AFB in 1970, where he worked as a painter in Civil Engineering. He was also a member of the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, jewelry making, beading, and visiting with his buddies. Orville was very much a family man as his family was very important to him. He is survived by his wife Corrine and two daughters, Debra Marienthal-Reynolds, and Melodee Marienthal, two sisters, Bernice Valenti of Germantown, Wisconsin and Arlone Johanson of Pleasanton, California, and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Amanda and Reinhold Marienthal and two brothers, Rene and Gerald, and two sisters, Delores Coughlin and Laverne Palmini. Alzheimer’s Association, PO.
