Roy Parr

Roy “Dean” Parr, 73, of Cheyenne passed away February 28, 2020 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 22, 1943 in Montpelier, ID to Richard and Ramona Parr.  He married Penny McCall on August 8, 1971 in Elko, NV.  He lived in Montpelier from 1943-1946, Cheyenne 1946-1968, Rawlins 1968-1971, Hanna 1971-2014 and Cheyenne since 2014, during his time in Hanna, he was a foreman for Energy Development and Rosebud Coal mines.

He is survived by his daughter, Rene (Gene) Kelley of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Michael, Marissa, Sadalynn, Jessie, and Suzanna; great-grandchildren, Zayvier and Raelynn; brother, David Parr of Colorado Springs, CO.

He was preceded by his parents; wife, Penny Parr; and sisters, Peggy Herceg and Mona Kay Parr.

Visitation will be Monday 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  Services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Beth El Cemetery.
