William Ray, Jr.

William B. Ray, Jr., of Cheyenne passed away November 26, 2019 at Davis Hospice Center.

He was born July 1, 1934 in Junction City, KS to William and Maxine Ray.  He married Dorothy D. Haddock on June 1, 1954 in Junction City.  He was a veteran of Korea, having serviced in the US Navy and was retired as an assistant store manager at K-Mart.  He was a member of North Cheyenne Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Nicholas) Davis of Chapman, KS, Kim (Neil) Cox of Cheyenne and Bill (Katherine) Ray of Cheyenne; brother, Gary Sparks of Cheyenne and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; parents; son, Kevin Ray and a sister, Sharon Thornton.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at North Cheyenne Baptist Church.
