Our Facilities

For more than 90 years, our funeral home has been dedicated to serving the great residents of Laramie County. Established in 1924 by Wesley Schrader, our Cheyenne, Wyoming funeral home first operated out of Castle Dare. Just a few years later in 1930, Schrader Funeral Home made the move to the Idelman Mansion, which recently served as the Governor’s Office. There it stayed until 2014, when it moved to its new location on Russell Avenue and was renamed Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home. Being locally-operated for nearly a century has allowed us to truly connect with the families we serve in incredibly important ways.

Our staff at Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby aren’t strangers you work with once and never see again. We’re the families you see enjoying the rides at Cheyenne Frontier Days. We’re the neighbors you sit with at church and the volunteers you work with at the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne. We are supporters of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter and the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. We love our community, and offering quality funeral service is our way of giving back to it.

Our Cheyenne, Wyoming funeral home on Russell Avenue has a large, inviting chapel with plenty of natural light that complements the elegant cathedral ceiling. Unlike other funeral homes, our reception center is located inside the building, ready to welcome family and friends to make them feel at home. Our funeral home’s facilities are thoughtfully designed to accommodate both burial and cremation, and our funeral directors will work with your family to customize the service to your needs. Our services are available 24 hours a day and we encourage you to call or visit us to take a tour and explore your options.
