Owner/Licensed Funeral Service Practitioner
A licensed funeral director and embalmer, Alex has been employed with the funeral home since 1983 and has resided in Cheyenne since 1969. He is a graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, and purchased the funeral home with Jeff on January 28, 2010. Alex is an active parishoner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Cathedral, and is a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife, Sarah, are actively involved in several motorcycle organizations. Alex is also a member of the Kiwanis.
Jeff began his funeral service career with Schrader Funeral Home in 1995 and graduated from Arapahoe Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. He is a licensed embalmer and funeral director and the previous owner of Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook, New Hampshire. He returned to Cheyenne in August 2009 to purchase Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home with Alex. In October of 2011, he purchased Jacoby Funeral Home in Rawlins, Wyoming (formerly Carbon County Funeral Home/ Rostad Mortuary), and in October of 2018, he purchased Bustard's Funeral Directors and Crematory in Casper, Wyoming. He and his wife, Wendy (Rabou), currently attend the Cheyenne Hills Church and they have two daughters. He is a member of the Cheyenne Rotary Club and enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family and traveling.
Licensed Funeral Service Practitioner/Certified Crematory Operator
John-Daniel has been with the funeral home since early 2012. Growing up in Loveland, Colorado, he was an Eagle Scout and is serving as a member of the Wyoming Army National Guard. He is a graduate of Arapahoe Community College and is currently a licensed funeral service practitioner. John-Daniel enjoys reading, camping and going to the movies.
Funeral Service Apprentice/Certified Crematory Operator/Monument Sales
Hailey has been with the funeral home since July of 2020. She is currently attending Araphoe Community College in pursuit of a degree in Mortuary Science. With a passion for community involvement, she serves as a Board Member and active volunteer with Cheyenne Little Theatre Players. Hailey also volunteers with a local cosplay group that brings fun character events to the families of Cheyenne. When she is not studying for classes or performing onstage, you can find her cross-stitching on her front porch or hiking the beautiful trails of Colorado with her husband Austin.
A lifelong resident of Cheyenne, Mary began working for the funeral home in April 2010. Previously, she served as the manager of the Sears Portrait Studio for 14 years. She's an avid photographer and also enjoys scrapbooking. She and her husband, Steve, are parishoners of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Jessica began serving families as a family service counselor in Western Nebraska in January of 2015 and with Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby in October of 2017. She has her insurance licensed in both Nebraska and Wyoming. She has been awarded the GWIC Rookie of the Year Award in 2015, along with FSA Rookie of the Year Award in 2015. Jessica and her husband, Justin, are new to the Cheyenne area, re-locating from Western Nebraska. They have four sons, one daughter-in-law, one soon to be daughter-in-law, and one grandson.
Jessica is truly passionate about serving families and looks forward to putting roots down in Cheyenne and getting involved with as many opportunities to serve Laramie County families as she can.
